According to the ancient yogic texts, we are meant to live a full 120 years. A critical factor in our longevity is the use of our breath. Apparently, the giant tortoise has only 3 breathes a minute and lives 180 years. Monkeys have ~30 minutes. How many breaths have you taken today?
That's the kind of tid-bits you'll find in the well-written, pretty site. Namita Jain, a fitness expert designs wellness programs based on healthy eating (including some home remedies) yoga, pranayama, ayurvedic and chakra based understanding. It's truly a holistic approach.

This is an excellent list of natural herbal remedies for depression. I also like that Naturopathic Physician Dr. Nicole Sundene, strongly discourages mixing natural remedies with pharmaceuticals.
Of course I'm a big fan...she lays it down on the line with how depression cannot be "cured" by drugs or herbal remedies. They help only if you continue to take them. The real solution she says, is therapy.

A jam packed resource for anything in the mental health field...especially useful if you want a definition of a disorder. It lists sources that have a fairly traditional medical orientation but there's a growing list of holistic and alternative resources that's worth checking out.

"The Mayor" as he likes to refer to himself, has created an enormous hand-picked directory, packed with useful links. Like anyone who takes pride in their endeavours, he was discerning in his selection of websites. Categories range from abuse and survival and relationships to New Age and the world's fair guide. Check out Stan's Bookmarks for links to some strange and "out there" sites.
